Roots Hotel - Faro

I was almost about to give a good review but just couldn't. The furnishings in my one-bedroom apartment were drab and not very comfortable. How can a hotel run without providing basic kitchen towels? I also expected a warm welcome gift, or at least a complimentary drink, as i made it very clear that I'm not like other guests.

The apartment was functional, with kitchenette.

We had a separate bedroom. Kitchenette was included.

The room was spacious and immaculate with great toiletries.

Unfortunately, parking was a significant hassle . There were limited spots available, made maneuvering quite difficult, especially with a larger vehicle. The noise from the surrounding area kept me awake at night, which really impacted my overall experience.

What a wonderful stay, nothing too much trouble. Bright hotel located short walk to the city center, the old town, bars and restaurants and other areas. Accommodating staff, always with a smile. A wide range of goodies for breakfast.

The hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a marina area, next to railway and bus, eating places and the old town, bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed my room, it was new-fashioned and with microwave, a double bed. There were a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a dishwasher in the room too.

Perfect for families!

The apartment was super comfy, and the staff went out of their way to help us, especially with our baby. The pool area was a nice spot to chill, and we loved the outdoor dining area! Just wish there were a few more options for breakfast. Really satisfying stay!

Got the same apartment booked online with great facilities, a fridge, for instance.

Had a really amazing stay overall, the room I stayed in was reasonably large and well-designed with a balcony, a terrace which was lovely and a bedroom.

I had an very nice stay with a fabulous little kitchen that was perfect for making quick meals. The morning coffee was really good! One downside was that the noise from the street kept waking me up at night, but I would easily choose this place again.

We enjoyed the spacious and clean studio with a balcony, perfect for our group. The location was fantastic, right next to the train station and a short walk to the town. The breakfast box was a great value, and we loved the coffee and outdoor eating area.

One downside was the limited indoor seating area when it rained.

Great air-con and friendly staff, but the parking spots are pretty tight.

The room was spacious and immaculate, with a comfortable living area and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a cozy corner for meal prep. The addition of a private bathroom with great toiletries was a lovely touch.

Parking situation was tough.

Couldn't recommend more for a short stint

Super clean room, comfortable apartment, and a lovely personal touch from the staff who decorated our room with petals for our anniversary celebration. The hotel also offered convenient amenities like free wi-fi and a great outdoor dining area, and its location is ideal as it's just a 3 km distance from the nearest airport.

Can't fault anything about it.

Loved the location, super close to town and some cool old buildings. Room was super clean and comfy bed was a plus. Having the little kitchenette with a dishwasher was awesome! Sunny days made it even better. Felt at home and relaxed .

Only downside was some noise from the neighbors which was a bit annoying. Parking was also tricky, felt kinda tight when we tried to park our car.
